Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Supporters worldwide united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Local events included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
