Outrage as Renowned South African DJ Gunned Down in the Heart of Johannesburg.
A prominent South African media personality and entertainer has been shot dead in the nation's economic hub Johannesburg, causing national outrage across a nation battling persistent crime.
Warrick Stock, widely recognized as DJ Warras, was attacked in the downtown area on a Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the 40-year-old entertainer was approached by three suspects, with one opened fire on him before running away.
The motive of the shooting is unknown and no one has been arrested have taken place, according to authorities.
The Fatal Incident
Law enforcement indicated that Stock was targeted as he was leaving a location close to the Carlton Centre.
