Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Takes On Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Predictions
Arsenal's 10-game victorious run was ended by Sunderland before the global hiatus, but can the English top division leaders bounce back against local foes Tottenham this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked football specialist Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, against AI, fans and a variety of special visitors.
In week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
Murs' new album, the new release, is available on the weekend.
Football and Parenting Experiences
Olly is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished artist and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not planning a professional comeback as a player.
"{I recently played in a benefit game the other night for a friend of mine," he explained. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my child or son chooses to play instead."
The singer and his spouse his partner have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their coach.
"I will not push football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be coaching their Saturday soccer team," he said.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a period too.
"My father did it with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I inherited it. He managed our team for two or three years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Premier League Forecasts

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their attack is already more potent with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this game will be fairly close, however. Burnley are well organised and their sole home losses so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
This suggests a 1-1 tie to me, but I am in fact going to choose the London side to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
Olly's pick: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2

The Cherries have been defeated in their past two matches - although both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, West Ham won back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they appear strong again.
The Hammers' only away victory this season came at Forest in the summer, when their boss Nuno was previously that team's manager.
Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - will it be the Hammers continuing their run under their manager, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I will go with the Cherries, because I believe what happened against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's prediction: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1

Brentford were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have impressed a several observers under their manager and are in good form with three in their past four matches.
My son advised me to get Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or back the away side at Brighton's ground.
They have not had great fortune on the travel this season, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's side carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
Olly's view: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of goals but it in reality proves to be quite tight. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge game for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their past six games.
They have have lots of quality in their team but it still seems like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight.
Regarding the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
Their performance in the two-all tie with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We have not witnessed anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.
The sensible thing to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of roughing Fulham up too and, the last time they were in west London, they beat the Blues at the close of last month.
However I am not do that. Instead, I really need to continue going against the away team with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good outcomes because they clearly enjoy to defy my predictions.
Considering Fulham's home record, the only side they have lost to is Arsenal. Marco Silva's team will be extremely eager for a positive outcome, so I am going to predict they will pick up three much-needed points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
Olly's choice: I know the visitors are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a poor run... but Fulham have still been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0

It is a hard fixture to call. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 games in all competitions, but could they be one of the sides who profit from the {international break|
